The West Lothian Lib Dems were proud to support the fight against the closure of Linlithgow Bridge Primary School Nursery and were deeply concerned when the Labour administration approved the closure in March of this year.

Since then, Lib Dem Councillor Sally Pattle has been assisting parents to access places for their children at the alternative providers in Linlithgow, but as she says, “concerns over adequate early years provision in Linlithgow were raised with West Lothian Council throughout the consultation period and I don’t believe a sufficient amount of forward planning has been done to prepare for the extra allocation needed. I will continue to work to ensure that every single young person in Linlithgow is receiving the best education provision that we have to offer.”

If you feel you aren’t being supported enough by West Lothian Council’s Education Department, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Councillor Sally Pattle: sally.pattle@westlothian.gov.uk
