Councillor Sally Pattle has been serving the Ward of Linlithgow since being elected in 2022.

Sally is currently the only Liberal Democrat Councillor sitting on West Lothian Council, so she represents LibDem values on the Council Executive and Education Executive, as well as sitting on the Economy Community Empowerment and Wealth Building Policy Scrutiny Committee.

Over the past four years, Sally has campaigned for a national, Scottish Government response to the RAAC crisis and working on a cross-party basis, Sally is also calling for the Scottish Government to fulfill their manifesto promise and provide financial support to West Lothian Council for the rebuilding of St Kent's Academy. She campaigned hard with parents and fellow Councillors to stop the unnecessary closure of nine West Lothian Council run early-learning settings and is currently campaigning to reintroduce cross-border funding for nursery places so that funding continues to follow the child.

As a local high street trader in Linlithgow, Sally has fought for greater coordination when planning roadworks, and better access and information regarding commerical waste options. As the Chairperson of the South East Scotland Regional Transport Partnership (SEStran), Sally has been involved in lobbying for better access to public transport across the region, and under her leadership, SEStran has successfully delivered improved active travel through the People & Place programme.

Sally continues to call for clarification from the Scottish Government on the long-planned Winchburgh Railway Station, which will alleviate parking problems in Linlithgow and enable people to more easily choose a greener travel option.

Away from local government, Sally continues to run the successful and award-winning Far From The Madding Crowd Bookshop in the heart of Linlithgow, the town she grew up in and continues to live in with her family.
