West Lothian Local Development Plan 2

The West Lothian Local Development Plan 2 (LDP2) is now underway. This is something every local authority in Scotland is in the process of developing and will have a huge impact on what our communities look like for the next decade.

West Lothian has submitted their Evidence Report to the Scottish Government, once that has been approved, the next stage will be a largescale public consultation so that every community in the region can set out their vision for new homes, new infrastructure, green spaces, economic development, tourism: the list is endless!

What can you do now? Wait for the consultation to be announced and then HAVE YOUR SAY!

It is anticipated that the consultation will begin in early autumn. It can be completed by individuals, key stakeholder groups, community organisations: everyone who lives or works in West Lothian has a right to their opinion.
